  • Why does this website require that I enable "cookies" to be saved on my computer?
    This website uses cookies to save information about your order, such as the number and type of signs that you want to order.  The information is saved so that if you get interrupted or need to quit before completing your order, you will not have to re-enter the next time you visit the site again.  The cookies are also used to pass the information from one form to the next.  They are saved for one year unless you press the "Clear" button on the order form page and then they are completely erased from your computer.
     

  • What are "cookies"?
    Cookies are small text files that your browser saves on your disk drive.  There are very strict rules on how they can be saved and accessed to ensure your privacy and security of your system.  This website creates a very small file, around 100KB that contains the necessary data to re-create your entries when you re-visit the site.
     

  • What information does this website save in the "cookies" on my computer?
    Primarily, it saves the information that you enter on each of the order forms.  We also save some parameters like what version of the website you are using incase the next time you visit we know if the there was a change to our website that would affect the stored data and make it invalid.  Since all of your payment information is actually entered on the PayPal site, we never actually see it nor is it saved on your computer.
     

  • Does this site look at any other "cookies" that are saved on my computer from other sources?
    No.  The way the your browser works, it is impossible for us to view any cookie other than the ones that we saved.
     

  • Can anybody else see the information saved on my computer by this website without my consent?
    No.  Just like we can't view information saved by others, no one else can view the information that we have saved.  Also, as an added level of security, all the information that we save is encrypted so that it would be meaningless to anyone else.
     

  • Why does this site require that "PopUp's or PopUp Windows" be allowed?
    To make this site easier to use and to reduce clutter, we have chosen to use pop-up windows to display your choices for backgrounds and other options on each sign.  In using this technique, we don't have to present all the choices on the same screen as rest of the order information and you don't have to leave the order form page to see your choices.  You also don't have to sort though all the templates for signs that you are not ordering to find the ones that you do want to order.
     

  • What internet browsers are supported by this website software?
    At this point, this site has only been extensively tested with Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6, but should work with other browsers as well.  However, we are aware of some technical compatibility issues with some of the dynamic features of this website with other browsers.  If your browser does not support this site, please contact us.

  • Is this website secure?
    YES!!  When you are on the pages were you are entering data, you will see the lock symbol on your screen that signifies this page is using SSL encryption for all data transfers.  This is the security system established to protect data transmissions on the internet.  To ensure your security, this site is registered with GEOTRUST and has been issued a security certificate to ensure that only this site can decipher the data transmission from your browser.
     

  • What  happens if I start my order but get interrupted and  can't finish it before I quit or do not have all the information right now and have to finish it later.  Do I have to re-type everything again?
    No.  As long as you have cookies enabled in your browser, we will save the information for up to one year on your disk drive.
     

  • I entered all or part of my data on my computer at work, but when I opened the website at home, none of the information I entered was there.  What happened to it?
    Since the order form information is saved on your computer's disk drive, it is only available to that computer.  If for some reason you need to get it to another computer, please contact us and we can take you through a series of steps to transfer the data to another computer.
